Using Variables for Advanced Prototyping

While Proto.io enables fast, powerful prototyping without coding, you can do more advanced prototypes with global variables and conditional logic using shorthand javascript. We'll start by surveying and dissecting prototypes in our Spaces gallery that use variables, and review the range of mathematical expressions that can be used. We'll then create prototype examples using variables.

A few examples include: 1) using a slider to change states for data visualization, 2) capturing form input such as a name or email to set that value within other screens for personalized experiences, 3) enabling alternative paths through a prototype for testing.

Don’t miss out on the advanced possibilities using variables!
