iPhone scaled resolutions

Although the native resolutions of different newer iPhone's are scaled by 2 or 3, the default resolutions offered for new projects in proto.io are the base ones.

This results that if I create an iPhone X project (375 x 812) and import a Photoshop project that has been designed for native resolution (1125x2436) the imported assets don't scale down but appear 3x bigger on the proto.io screen.

What is the best practice here for prototyping? Is there a trick to have the imported assets automatically scaled down to proper size on the proto.io board, or should I choose a custom resolution (and enter the 3x bigger one in pixels) rather than choosing the iPhone X preset from proto.io dashboard when creating the project?

I would like to keep the Photoshop designs according to iPhone 8 or iPhone X native resolution.
