Interaction Design patterns are solutions to commonly faced design problems. Proto.io offers you a number of these patterns, as complex UI components that you can add to your project and customize, saving you a lot of time.
This video explains how to use the "Slide-in menu" pattern. When you tap on the hamburger menu, a menu slides in from left to right. You can swipe to close or choose a menu option to go to a different screen. It adds a container that includes the hamburger menu icon and a nested container with the menu options. Once you have it on your canvas, you can go to the Containers list to find the "Slide in menu" container to edit and customize. The menu comes in and out with a container state transition, which you can also customize. The menu options have "Go to screen" interactions set up for which you can edit the target screen.
